写真はドラゴンの1/200で、細身ですが、1/48零戦くらいの収納スペースをとります。
キットは90年代初期、ドラゴン黎明期に発売されたもので、冷戦時代に「東側の人間」だった私はウキウキしながら作ったものでした。写真のモノは2000年頃の再販モノで、２作目です。当時良く買っていたアメリカの大きなホビーショップから通販で買いました。ソ連（ロシア）の飛行機や戦車は、今でこそ人気ですが、冷戦の記憶の生々しい2000年頃までは、MiG-25を除けば、日本では「売れないアイテム」扱いされていました。このキットも、2000年頃の再販では、日本には入荷していないか、ごく少量の入荷だったようで、名古屋の数店の良く行く模型屋では全く見かけなかったので、わざわざ海外通販となったものです。
普通に塗装してデカール貼り、クリヤーを全面に吹いて10年ほど前に「完成」としていましたが、2017年、エナメルのフラットブラックでシャドー入れをしました。クリヤーの上へのシャドー吹きは、少し擦れただけでも吹いたシャドーが剥がれるので、取扱注意です。
今回、単品写真を撮ったあと、胴体下面にスタンド用の穴を開けました。また、瞬着で接着していたミサイルをバキッと外して、ミサイル発射シーンを撮影しました。思いのほか強力に接着されていたので、パイロンの接合面に白い塗料がガジガジに残っています。写真でも確認できますね。ミサイル上面は、塗料が剥がれて哀れな状態になっていますが、このアングルでは見えません。
さて、今回の情景写真の最大の失敗ですが、お気づきでしょうか？
ベアの装備は対艦ミサイル（Kh-22 キッチン）です。なんと、上空に向けて発射しちゃっています。（＾＾;）
影時は「こんな感じがカッコいいかな」と思いながら一生懸命やっていたので気付かず、撮影セットを片付けて一息ついたら気付きました。カッコいいので許してちょ、デス。（＾＾;）
しかし二重反転プロペラは、ドライヤーでは簡単に回りませんね。正面からの風では全く回らないため、側面のピンポイント的な位置から、なんとか回ってくれるという感じでした。
This is a 1/200 Dragon's kit. It is slim, but it takes a storage space as same as 1/48 Zero Fighter.
The kit was released in early 1990s. Even if during the Cold War, I am a Japanese but I was a fan of Soviet arms. So I swiftly got it and built it with very exciting.
The kit of the photo is my second kit. I bought it from U.S. around 2000. At that time, this kit was not sold in Japan.
I finished this kit in gloss clear. And in 2017 I airbrushed it with thinned flat black enamel paint at panel lines. But the enamel coating is easy to peel off.
This time, I forcibly removed a missile that had been adhered. I wanted to take a picture of launching a missile.
Because a missile was strongly adhered unexpectedly, white paint remained on the pylon. You can see it in the first photo. Of course, upper surface of the missile is poor condition.
By the way, there is a big mistake of this scene photo, do you notice?
Tu-95 Bear is equipped with anti-ship missiles (Kh-22 kitchen). Nevertheless I'm firing towards the sky! (＾＾;)
I'm very sorry...
However, contra-rotating propellers didn't rotate easily with a hairdryer. They didn't rotate with wind from the front position. They rotate with wind from only a position of the side.
