全弾投射は男のロマン！
フェニックスミサイルは一度に全弾を発射することはないと思いますが、「全弾発射」は男のロマンですから！理屈よりもロマンです！（＾＾）
ハセガワの凹線のほうの定番キットですが、かなり年季が入っていますね。主翼は選択固定式で、可動はしません。25年ほど前に作ったフジミのキット（2017年ごろ再版されたやつです。）は可動式でしたが、うまく噛み合わせるのが難しくて完成できなかったので、ハセガワの選択固定式は正解だと思いました。
2010年代中盤は、タミヤ1/48とファインモールド1/72から始まったF-14再ブームにあやかって、フジミが古い1/72キットを再版したり、ハセガワも得意のデカール替え値段つり上げ「限定版」商法でがんばっていましたが、今回作ったのは2005年くらいから積んであった、定番商品の「大西洋空母航空団」のものです。
この定番品にはジョリー・ロジャース中期（機体全面グレー）と後期（ロービジ）のデカールがセットされているので、中期のもので作りました。機体下面が白の、ジョリー・ロジャースの初期のものは限定版のみです。
あちこちに段差ができますが、機首と胴体の接合部だけは目立つので修正しました。あとは「おおらか」に完成させました。
スパロー、サイドワインダーは別売りの武装セットのものですが、パイロン・ランチャーと全く接合が合いません。ミサイルの翼がランチャーに思いっきり干渉します。同じハセガワ製なのに、取り付けが全く考慮されていない、まさに他人事という仕様！萎えたので、結局ゴムボンドで適当に取り付けてあります。ランチャーとミサイル本体でなく、翼がくっついている状態です。（＾＾;）
"All missiles, fire!" This is the men's aspiration!
I don't think all Phoenix missiles will be fired at a once, but this is a man's aspiration! Aspiration than theory! (＾＾)
Hasegawa releases both old cheap convex lines kit and concave lines standard kit at the same time now. This is a concave lines kit.
The wings are fixed type and don't move. Fujimi's 1990's kit (reproducted around 2017) has movable wings, and I built it in 1990s. But it was difficult to build and it was hardly to move wings due to a structural problem as a plastic kit. Therefore in my opinion, Hasegawa's fixed type wings are better.
In the mid-2010s, following the F-14 re-boom that began with Tamiya 1/48 and Fine Mold 1/72, Fujimi reproduced 1990's 1/72 kit, and Hasegawa also released a "Limited Edition" of early Jolly Rogers. ("Limited edition" is an business practice that Hasegawa sells a standard kit with special decal as a limited edition at a high price.)
But this time I built a standard edition kit "F-14A Atlantic Fleet Squadrons" that I have been stocking since about 2005.
This standard edition kit contains a middle-term Jolly Rogers decal (whole body in gray) and a late-stage (low visibility) decal. The early painting of Jolly Rogers (with white underside) is the limited edition only.
Differences in level can appear at many place. I flattend a difference in level only between the nose and the hull.
Sparrows and side winders are sold separately, but they do not fit with the pylon launcher of this kit. Missile wings interfere with the launcher. Even though they are both made of Hasegawa, the mounting is not considered at all! I am disappointed with this kit and I attached missiles roughly with rubber-based adhesive. The launcher and the missile body have not stuck together, but the launcher and missile wings have stuck together. (＾＾;)
