日本は戦闘機も爆撃機もスマートでエンジンも弱そうですが、アメリカは戦闘機も爆撃機もマッチョでエンジンもバリバリのパワーを感じさせるので、日本機の合間にアメリカ機を作ると非常に興味深いです。
今回のマーキングはヨーロッパ戦線の参加機にしました。
本当は「爆撃機」B-26よりも「地上攻撃機」っぽいイメージの、イタレリのA-26も欲しかったんですが、2016年現在は生産の谷間のようで見かけませんね。しかしどちらも機首両側はじめ各所に機関銃を多数装備していて、「ガンシップ」のような物々しさがあります。
写真はえらく低空でバクダンを落としていますが、極端なイメージ画像と思ってください。（＾＾）
ジオラマでは、極端にしたほうがインパクトが強くて見栄えがする、という趣旨のことを故シェパード・ペイン氏が書いておられましたので、私の情景写真は学生時代から、そのような方向性になっています。
About both fighters and bombers, Japanese aircrafts are smart and thier engines look weak, but the United States's are macho and thier engines look strong.
It is very interesting to build an US aircraft and a Japanese aircraft at the same time.

I wanted an Italeri's A-26, which looks more like a “ground attack aircraft” than a “bomber” B-26, but in 2016 A-26 has not been producting.
Both A-26 and B-26 are equipped with many machine guns on both sides of the nose and various places, so they look like "gunship".
The photo shows a B-26 dropping a bomb in the very low altitude. Please look this as just an image. (＾＾)
Because, about a diorama, Mr. Shepard Paine wrote that the extreme effect could give a strong impression, and the scene looks better.
