トランペッターの1/48ウェストランド ホワールウィンドです。
昔、エアフィックスが1/72で出しており作りましたが、2000年ごろの私の「プラモデル大粛清」時代があり処分してしまいました。しかし非常に好きな飛行機のため、一昨年にトランペッターから1/48で新発売のときは小躍りしながら買いました。
部品の合いはだいたいＯＫですが、エンジンナセルの翼への取り付け部に、段差ができます。塗装中に気づいて、引き返す勇気がなかったためそのままにしてしまいました。ナセル上面の翼との結合部、横一文字にスジが入っているのが分かると思います。
あと、操縦席の床が高すぎです。パイロットは付属していませんが、どんなパイロットも乗せられないほどの浅いコクピットです。しようがないので、上半身だけで両肩も切り詰めたパイロット（つまり頭部と胸部のみ。）を乗せてやりました。しかも他のキット用に作った日本兵です。どのみちあまり見えませんので。が、日本兵の特徴の白いマフラーが目立ってます。。。
なお、飛行姿勢には組めませんので、無理矢理改造してあります。
向こうのBf109Fは昔の「世界の傑作機」シリーズの1/144です。エフトイズのと違い、飛行姿勢に組めませんので脚を取り外した状態でごまかして使っています。
This is a Trumpeter's kit.
Long time ago, I had a 1/72 Arifix's kit. But I abandoned it by minimalism around 2000. But I love the Whirlwind very much, and I got a 2014 new Trumpeter's kit with great joy.
Parts fitting are generally good, but a difference in level can appear between the cowl and the wing in upper surface. I found it in painting, but I didn't adjust it in this time. You can see it in my picture.
The floor of the cockpit is too high. The pilot is not able to be set. (A pilot is not included in this kit.) In this time I set a pilot from another kit, but it is only head and bust without arms. Because the cockpit is so small.
To tell the truth, it is Japanese pilot for another Japanese fighter. Ok, we hardly see it anyway in cockpit. But outstanding a white scarf of feature of Japaese pilot...
This kit isn't including parts for flight mode, so I modified into flight mode by myself.
Bf109 is a toy 1/144.
