1/72ではなく、1/48のデカい方です。結構なボリュームです。
数年前、塗装仕上げ中に箱ごと２ｍの高さから落下、主翼など接着箇所が脱落してバキバキになっただけでなく、部分的にボディが欠けたりなど、悲惨な状態となり、怒りのと悔しさののあまり、「しばらく忘れよう」と思い屋根裏へ上げ封印しました。数年後に気を取り直して補修し、やっとこさ完成させたものです。
これがトランペッターから発売されたときは非常に嬉しかったです。それまでは弱小メーカーの高価なキットしかありませんでしたから、これで一家に一機、誰でも苦労せずにワイバーンが作れる時代が来たのだ！と思いました。（＾＾）
ロケット弾と魚雷を同時に搭載する場面があるかは知りませんが、せっかくなのでフル装備にしてやりました。
ところでこのキット、塗装指示、塗装図が間違っています。機首のプロペラ根元の部分は、機体上面と同一のシーグレーで指示されていますが、実際はそんな機体は一つもないようです。胴体と同じのスカイが正しいです。塗装後に気付き、塗り直すハメになりました。中華キットは組み立て図もそうですが、塗装も説明書を全面的に信用するとおかしなことになる場合が多いですね、戦車もしかりですが。
二重反転プロペラは、キットはギヤを介して前部を回すと後部が反転回転するという、凝った作りでした。しかしギヤが重いので、風で回転させるにはそれらをオミットしなければなりませんでした。
しかし風で回るよう改造しても、風を正面から当てても二重反転プロペラはうまく回転しなかった（当たり前ですね。）ため、やむなく前部と後部を接着し、斜めから風をあてて無理やり同方向へ回しています。（＾＾;）
This is a 1/48 Trumpeter's kit. A big volume.
At that time when I was painting this kit, it in a box was dropped from 2m above. Its wings and other parts fell off, and its body was chipped. I got angry and felt sad, and lost heart, and wanted to forget this broken kit and sealed in a box. After a few years, I started to repair this kit and finished it.
When this kit was new released, I was very happy. Until then, there were only expensive kits from small manufacturers. The era that everyone can build Wyvern feel free had come!
I don't know that Wyvern can equippe with both rockets and a torpedo. But I did it because it is very cool.
The painting instruction of this kit was wrong. In fact, the root part of the propeller spinner is not sea gray, but is sky green as same as the hull side. I found that after I painted, and I repainted.
In many cases, a colour instruction of Chinese kits is not correct. AFV models, too. Please attention!
The contra-rotating propeller of this kit can be contra-rotated by plastic gears. But I omitted them. Because they are too heavy to rotale propellers by hairdryer wind.
But it was very hard to rotate contra-rotating propeller by hairdryer wind. It would not rotate with wind from the front. It was obviously because this is a contra-rotating propeller.
I glued both propellers and I blowed air from the side.
