ハセガワ1/72では、機首機銃は２門は撤去され塞がれ、残り２門は消炎用の長銃身になっていますが、このホビーボスでは箱絵も説明書も、普通に４門装備で消炎装置もない仕様になっています。２門が塞がれた外装パーツもセットされていますので、ハセガワ仕様に組むこともできます。実機写真を検分すると、普通に４門装備の方が多いような。。。
このキットの大問題は、塗装図が全くいいかげんということです。機番デカールは赤の11番と12番がセットされていますが、11番のほうは正直、実機の迷彩状態がよく分かりませんでした。12番のほうは、第11夜間戦闘航空団（NJG11）の有名な個体ですが、実機写真で確認すると、レベルなどのキットの配色が正しい、つまり翼上面はRLM81と82の緑系スプリンター迷彩で、エンジンポッドは上面まで真っ黒です。実機写真をいくつか調べても、エンジンポッドの中段あたりに塗り分け線が来るような、ホビーボスの塗装図のようなものは見つかりませんでした。（調査不足かもしれませんが。）
今回は、緑系が入らない、NJG11の有名な「赤10」と同じ塗り分けにしたかったので、「写真では残されなかったが存在した機」と設定し、赤の機番は貼らずに、尾翼の機番号も切ってシャッフルしてあります。ただ、ウィキの英語版によると、NJG11のMe262Bの稼働機は、最大でも７機程度だったとのこと。写真のように、コレがまとまって編隊を組むことはなかったと思います。
機首のレーダーは普通のプラ部品でした。アンテナのヒゲ部分だけ0.4mm真鍮線に変えましたが、これでは太い感じ。0.2mmか0.3mmくらいが良かったと後悔しています。穴を開けて瞬着で着けてしまったので、修正不可デス。
夜戦の情景は難しいです。「機体がよく見える情景写真」にすると、どうしても嘘っぽく（お絵かきっぽく）なってしまうのデス。
というわけで、今後は夜間戦闘機でも昼間の情景写真にします。やっぱり飛行機は、青い空を飛んでほしいですし。
This kit contains two versions of front 30mm gun parts - two guns or four guns version. Old 1/72 Hasegawa's kit was two long gun barrel version. But in real pictures, we can see many pictures of a standard four guns version. I built this kit as a standard four guns version.
A big problem of this kit is uncorrect painting instruction. This kit contains decals of "Red 11" and "Red 12". I cannot find pictures of real "Red 11" plane and cannot confirm the camoflage pattern. But about "Red 11", this kit is uncorrect, and 1/32 Revell kit is correct. The top of the wing is painted RLM81/82 and the top of the engine pod is painted all black. The camoflage of this Hobby Boss's instruction can never be seen in any real pictures.
In this time I painted this model with a camoflage of a famous "Red 10" of NJG11, but I have no decal of Red 10. I recognized this plane as another plane of NJG11, and I shuffled a number decal at the tail wing.
In Wiki, NJG11 has only around seven Me262B-1a/U1s. In fact, I don't think many Me262B-1a/U1s gathered at a time as like my picture.
Front radars are made of plastic. I replaced their top rods with 0.4mm brass rod, but they are still thick. I should use 0.2mm or 0.3mm...
It is hardly to take a picture of a night flight. This picture looks to me like a CG, not a photo...
I'll take pictures of only day flight from now on.
