今は亡きセクターのフィアットG.50戦闘機です。
古いキットで、しかも弱小メーカーのものですが、パーツの合いなどはおおむね良好です。コクピット内部は側壁がツルツルで何もないので、伸ばしランナーなどで簡単に作りました。（見えませんが。）
排気管はちょっとひらぺった過ぎる感じがしたのと、大きなヒケがあったため、プラ棒で作り直しました。
ピトー管は、キットには箱絵写真どおり、大戦中期以降のイタリア機によく見られる、まっすぐなモノが付属していますが、これは間違いです。実機写真を見れば一目瞭然です。G.50は独特な形状のモノが付いています。枝があり、折れ曲がっているうえに、テーパーまでついています。今回は伸ばしランナーで作りました。色も、機体色ではなく、全体が黒か黒鉄色に見えますので、今回は黒にしました。
また、張り線はペイントソフトによるお絵かきではありますが、実機は垂直尾翼と両主翼を結ぶ形態です。箱絵の写真やイラストでは、操縦席の後ろから直接、またはMC200のように短い支持棒を立てて尾翼へ張り線がしてあるものが多いですが、そういう実機は見当たりません。（私の調査不足かもしれませんが。）
This is an old kit of Secter that was descontinued. But parts fittings are generally good. There is no mold inside a cockpit. I made ribs there, but we hardly see them.
I made exhaust pipes from a plastic rod. Because original parts are a little flat and have a hollow.
Straight simple pitot tubes are originally included in this kit as like the box art. But this is mistake. In fact, G.50 had not straight simple pitot tubes. Its pitot tube is bending and has a taper, and has a branch under the tube, and is all black or gun metal. It is an early Italian type. I made it from stretched sprue.
I usually draw antenna wire on the picture. Because of storage of a lot of models, I cannot make wire on the real model.
The wire is extended from rear of the cockpit to the tail fin in this box art, but this is mistake. Please see the last picture.
