2019年秋に発売された、ソードのRE2005です。簡易インジェクションなので、通常キットのようなモールドのシャープさはありませんが、キャノピーはバキュームでなく、プラ部品となっています。
翼端灯のパーツがキャノピー部品と一緒についているのを見落として、ランナーごと捨ててしまいましたので、1mmプラ棒で作り直しました。透明ではないですが、キャンディ塗装（シルバーを塗ってからクリヤーグリーンとクリヤーレッド）にしてやりました。
翼の20mm機銃も1mmプラ棒です。
ピトー管は伸ばしランナーから作りました。キットの部品はさすがに使えない感じデス。また、ピトー管の位置も取り付け位置が不明確のため、ネットで実機をググって確定させました。結論的には、塗装三面図のものは間違いで、箱絵は正しいです。
塗装は黒立ち上げです。イタリア機はよく知らないうえ、私の基本が「手持ちの塗料でそれらしい色で塗る」というポリシーのため（「正確」な色にこだわると塗料ビンばかり増えて収納に困る）、下面はドイツ機のライトブルー、上面はMr.カラー12番オリーブドラブとしました。
翼の国籍マークは、シルバリングを恐れて、チマチマと透明部分を切り出しました。
コーションデカールが全然ついていないのが寂しいです。箱絵では描かれているのに。
RE2005は、部隊配備数か月後には、イタリアが降伏してしまいましたので、写真のようなイタリア王国軍機としては、まとまった数での運用はされなかったのではないかと思います。ということで、逆に「RE2005が集団で悠々と飛行しているシーンが見た～い！」と思って、こんな情景にしてみました。
This is a 2019 new released kit by Sword. Generally good as a small company's kit. A canopy is an injection part, not a vacuum.
I throwed away clear parts of wing tip lights by mistake, so I made them from 1.0mm white rod. They are not clear, but I painted them in silver and later I painted them in clear red or clear green.
20mm guns in the wings were also made from 1.0mm rod by me.
Pitot tube was made from stretched sprue. Because these original parts are not so good.
The position of a pitot tube is ambiguous in the instruction. It is different in the box art and in the instruction. Research real photos in the web, we can see that the box art is correct, and the instruction is uncorrect.
I airbrushed this model in flat black first, and put RLM76 and Mr. color #12 olive drab (for USAAF) on the model carefully by a 0.2mm airbrush.
I usually don't use accuracy color, and use similar color. I have no storage space for a lot of colors. A house in Japan is small!
I cut off the clear area of the national sign of the decal.
Tiny caution decals are not included in this kit...
In fact, the period that Re2005 was used with Italian Kingdom markings was very short. That's exactly why I wanted to take a picture of a large formation of Re2005 in the clear blue sky.
This is one of the good points of the plastic model world.
