T-34, Production in STZ, Winter 1941 - 1942
T-34 STZ（スターリングラードトラクター工場）1941-42年冬生産型
操縦手ハッチが新型（後のT-34-85と同じもの。）に変わり、車体装甲板の組み方が組み継ぎ式になったことが大きな変更点です。
起動輪は183工場や112工場と同じ1941年型のままです。有名な、STZ独特のものはこの型ではまだ使われていません。

New driver's hatch was installed. The way of jointing hull armour panel were changed into a finger joint.
Please note that the drive wheel remains of 1941 type same as No.183 or No.112. The famous STZ original drive wheel is not installed in this model.
砲塔 Turret；
（前型式からの変更点）
・初期型は駐退機カバー上部のボルト２つ（両側で４つ）は円錐形ボルト。それ以外は駐退機カバーも後面パネルも六角の平頭ボルト。後期型はすべてが六角の平頭ボルトに変わった。

· Only two bolts (four bolts on both side) on the gun mantlet are conical bolts and other bolts are flat hexagonal bolts in the ealry model. In the late model, all bolts were changed into flat hexagonal bolts.

・溶接製砲塔と鋳造製砲塔の両方が存在する。溶接製砲塔は1941年型簡易溶接シェル、鋳造製砲塔は1940年型シェル。
・後面のボルトは溶接砲塔の場合は８つ、鋳造砲塔の場合は６つ。
・溶接砲塔、鋳造砲塔とも、ペリスコープは左にPT-4-7型１基。右ペリスコープの穴はあるが装着例はなく、丸板で塞がれている。
・ハッチの２か所のヒンジは、砲塔側はリベット接合だが、ハッチ側は溶接。
・ハッチ上面の膨らみ方は左側が大きく膨らんだもの。最初から視察装置跡の穴のないもの。

Welded turret and cast turret, there are both. The welded turret has a simplified welded turret shell model 1941. The casted turret has a shell model 1940.
· Bolts on the rear panel are eight for the welded turret, and six for the casted turret.
· The periscope is only one left, PT-4-7 type, for welded/cast turrets. The hole for a right periscope is sealed with a round plate.
· Two hinges of the top hatch is welded without rivets.(Hatch side) This hinges on the turret is riveted, isn't welded.(Turret side)
· The top hatch has a round bulge to the left. The hole for the old inspection equipment is nothing from the beginning.
車体 Hull；
（前型式からの変更点）
・前面装甲板の左右が組み継ぎになった。後面装甲板の左右も組み継ぎになった。側面装甲板と上面装甲板も組み継ぎになった。
・操縦手ハッチは新型に変わった。（後のT-34-85と同じ標準的なもの。）
・操縦手ハッチの右上に、ピルツのような構造物あり。
・排気管カバーのボルト数は８つに変わった。ボルトは平頭の六角ボルト。後面装甲板自体のボルトも平頭の六角ボルト。
・排気管の間のミッション点検ハッチは角型のままだが、183工場型と同様の取っ手がついた。鍵穴はなくなった。
・両舷の初期型燃料タンクの留め具は、当初は前型式同様、縦置き用タンクの留め具もありタンク10本が装着できるものを装備。この場合、スコップ２本を装備する金具が後部パネルの排気管の上方にあり。途中から平置き型タンク金具が両舷２組分ずつに変わり、縦置き用タンクの留め具は見られなくなった。スコップ金具は左舷後部に移動した。

· The front armor panel is jointed by a finger joint. Also, rear & side, side & upper.
· The new driver's hatch was installed. The base was changed into simple style. (same as T-34-85.)
· There is a device like a "piltz" of german tank upper right of the driver's hatch (Just under the main gun).
· There are 8 bolts on a exaust pipe cover. This is the big feature in this model. And all bolts on the rear panel including the exhaust pipe cover are flat hexagonal bolts. Not conical bolts.
· The rear transmission hatch is still a square type. But a tiny handrail was equipped from this model. Without a keyhole.
· In the early model, same as the previous model, there are one set of metal fittings for an external fuel box (flat setting type) and four set of metal fittings for an external fuel box (standing setting type) on the each side. Total ten boxes on both sides. In this case, metal fittings for two shovels are on the rear panel. In the late model, there are two sets of metal fittings for an external fuel box (flat setting type) on the each side. (total four boxes on both sides.) In this case, metal fittings for two shovels were moved to the left side rear.

・車体前縁は溶接。
・牽引具はγ字型フックの初期型でリベット止めのうえ溶接。他工場と違い、後部牽引具も前部と同じものを使用。
・前照灯は前面左１基のみ。
・車体機銃のマウントは完全なＯ型。STZのみの特徴。
・両側の後部フェンダーにジャッキ台装着金具あり。ただし左にのみジャッキ台を装着。
・後部フェンダーに補強用の打出し線あり。（戦時中の写真では大変判別しにくいが、T-34、T-34-85ともすべてあります。）
・右フェンダー上の装備品は前からグローサー５枚３セット、Ｕ字牽引具、ジャッキ、予備キャタピラ。
・左フェンダー上の装備品は前から砲身クリーニングロッド箱（背の低いもの）、グローサー５枚２セット、工具箱、予備キャタピラ。
・エンジンルーバーは横型ルーバー。
・前部フェンダーは分割のない１枚式。左右フェンダーとも、外側に補強用の一筋の打出し線あり。両フェンダーとも前端外側は尖っておらず、丸くなっている。ただしフェンダーの垂直部分と水平部分の境は、エッジのあるSTZ独自の型式。同時代の183工場や112工場とは違う。

· The front edge is welded. No rivets.
· Front towing devices are shape of "γ". They are riveted and welded. Rear towing devices are also shape of "γ", different from No.183 or No.112.
· Only one left headlight is on the front panel. A base and a protrusion (connector?) behind a right light is removed from the beginning.
· The hull machine gun mount ring is "O" shape. This is a big feature of STZ.
· There are metal fittings for a jack base box on both rear fender. But a jack base box is on left rear fender only.
· There is a reinforcing line on the rear fender. (It is very hard to see this line in photos in WWII, but all T-34s and T-34-85s have this line.)
· Tools on the right fender are three sets of five grousers, two "U" shackles, a jack and extra tracks. Same as No.183 old version. Not same as No.183 in this period.
· Tools on the left fender are a large box (for a gun barrel cleaner), two sets of five grousers, a tool box and extra tracks. Same as No.183 old version. Not same as No.183 in this period.
· Engine grills are horizonal fin type.
· Front fenders are simple and standard length. There is a line on the outside of each fender. Front outside edge is rounded. There is a line on the outside of each fender. Folding line between horizonal part and vertical part is sharp edged. This is a big different point from No.183 or No.112 in this period.

・履帯は広軌550mm幅の、ワッフル模様のあるもの。
・起動輪は1941年型。（1940年型と同じデザインだが、外周の溝がないもの。内蔵ゴムが省かれたと思われる。） 42年型で特徴的なSTZ特製のものでなはい！
・誘導輪はSTZ式の全鋼製。（スポーク部分が長短交互になっており、目抜き穴は楕円形のもの。）
・転輪は全鋼製の初期型。（目抜き穴の周りに盛り上がりがないもの。）

· Tracks; 550mm, model 1941-1942 early waffle pattern tracks.
· Drive wheels; 1941 type. (The design is same as 1940 type. But without an outside ridge. It seems that the inner rubber was discontinued.) The famous STZ 1942 drive wheel is not installed yet!
· Idler wheels; Full steel, STZ original type. (Five long ribs and five short ribs alternately. Holes are ellipse. Five bolts on the hub cap.)
· Road wheels; Full steel wheel early type. (It has ten holes without rimmed edge around the holes.)
