T-34 183工場（ウラル戦車工場）1942年２月～３月生産型

　前型式は応急的な雰囲気のある仕様でしたが、多少工場が落ち着いてきたのか、操縦手ハッチとキャタピラが元の仕様に戻りました。
　このロットは、全車に増加装甲が装着されています。

　写真のタイプも前型式と同様、カツコフ少将で有名な第１親衛戦車旅団のものです。ただし、前型式と違い、雪深い場面での実車写真は無く、残雪まじりや雪融け泥濘期（３～５月ごろ）と思われる写真が多いですので、1942年初期のモスクワ反転攻勢が一段落した後に補充されていった車両であると思われます。白い網目状の迷彩が特徴的で、写真も多く残っています。

The previous model seems to have been under emergency. But it seems that the factory has calmed down, the driver's hatch and the tracks changed back to the previous model. (= New model)
All vechicles have an extra armour on the front of the hull.

This model is often seen in the 1st guards tank brigade of major general M.Katukov, same as the previous model. But different from the previous model, this model is not seen in the heavy snow, but is often seen during the thawing season. Therefore I think that this model was arrived to the brigade after the Soviet's offence in front of the Moscow.

砲塔 Turret；前型式から変化なし。Unchanged.

・溶接製砲塔と鋳造製砲塔の両方が存在する。溶接製砲塔は1941年簡易型シェル。鋳造製砲塔は1940年型シェル。
・後面のボルトは溶接砲塔の場合は８つ、鋳造砲塔の場合は６つ。
・駐退機カバーのボルト、後面パネルのボルトはすべて六角の平頭。円錐形ではない。
・溶接製砲塔も鋳造製砲塔も、ペリスコープは左側にPT-4-7型１基のみ。撤去された右ペリスコープの穴は丸板で塞がれている。
・ハッチ上面の膨らみ方は左側が大きく膨らんだもの。視察装置跡の穴は最初からないもの。
· Welded turret and cast turret, there are both. The welded turret is a simplified shell model 1941. The casted turret shell is still model 1940.
· Bolts on the rear panel are eight for the welded turret, and six for the casted turret.
· All bolts on the gun mantlet and on the rear panel are flat hexagonal bolts. Not conical bolts.
· The periscope is only one left, PT-4-7 type, for both turrets. The hole of the removed right periscope is sealed with a round plate.
· The top hatch has a round bulge to the left.

車体 Hull；

（前型式からの変更点）
・操縦手ハッチは装甲バイザー２つの新型に戻ったが、相変わらず旧型ハッチに合わせたデザインの前面装甲板に無理矢理な感じで装着されている。右ペリスコープのみ、基部は残されているのが普通だが、撤去されている例もある。
・前面に増加装甲板を取り付けている場合、左の前照灯は装備されていない。その後ろの突起物（コネクター？）はあり。前面に増加装甲板を取り付けていない場合、左の前照灯を装備している例がある。

· The driver's hatch changed again to a new type. It is attached to the front panel that was designed for the old hatch. Standardly, the base of a right periscope was remained. But in some vehicles, the base of right periscope was removed.
· Vehicles with front additional armour have no headlight, but have a protrusion (connector?). Vehicles without front additional armour have a left headlight.

・前面に増加装甲板を取り付けた車両がある。前縁のリベット部分を避けるようにカットされている。
・アンテナポストは撤去され四角い板で塞がれている。
・車体側面の燃料タンク取り付け金具は全て廃止。
・ジャッキ台の装備も廃止。
・右フェンダー上の装備品は前からグローサー５枚３セット、工具箱、予備キャタピラ。ジャッキはない。
・左フェンダー上の装備品は前からＵ字型牽引具２つ、砲身クリーニングロッド入れ（背の低いもの）、予備キャタピラ。
・前部フェンダーはSTZと同様の、垂直部分と水平部分の境にエッジのあるもの。左右フェンダーとも、外側に補強用の一筋の打出し線あり。両フェンダーの前端外側は、前面に増加装甲板を取り付けた車両の場合、尖っておらず丸くなっている。増加装甲板を取り付けていない車両の場合、丸くなっておらず尖っている場合が多い。
・後部フェンダーに補強用の打出し線あり。（戦時中の写真では大変判別しにくいが、T-34、T-34-85ともすべてあります。）
・エンジンルーバーは横ルーバー型。（T-34-85と同じもの。）
・前部牽引具はγ字型フックの初期型でリベット止めのうえ溶接。後部牽引具はＪ字型でリベット止めのうえ溶接。
・車体前縁は従来どおりリベット止め。溶接せず。
・車体機銃のマウントは下部の直線なＯ型。（蒲鉾型）
・後面のミッション点検ハッチに取っ手あり。
・後面パネルのボルトは排気管カバーも含めすべて平頭の六角。
・シャベル装着金具はどこにも装備していない。

· Some vehicles are equipped with an additional armour on the front. The armour is cutted to avoid bolts and towing devices.
· An antenna post was removed and was sealed with a square plate.
· All metal fittings for external fuel box were discontinued.
· A jack base box was discontinued.
· Tools on the right fender are three sets of five grousers, a tool box and extra tracks. No jack.
· Tools on the left fender are two "U" shackles, a large box (for a gun barrel cleaner) and extra tracks. No metal fittings for grousers.
· Front fenders are simple and standard length. Folding line between horizonal part and vertical part has sharp edged as STZ. There is a line on the outside of each fender. In vehicles with front additional armour, front outside edge of fender is rounded. In vehicles without front additional armour, front outside edge of fender is usually pointed.
· There is a reinforcing line on the rear fender. (It is very hard to see this line in photos in WWII, but all T-34s and T-34-85s have this line.)
· Horizonal fin type engine grills. (Same as T-34-85)
· Front towing devices are shape of "γ". They are riveted and welded. Rear towing devices are shape of "J". They are riveted and welded.
· The front edge remains of riveted. Not welded.
· The hull machine gun mount ring is "D" shape 90°rotated to the left.
· A tiny handrail is on the rear transmission hatch. No keyhole.
· All bolts on the rear panel including the exhaust pipe cover were flat hexagonal.
· Metal fittings for shovels are nowhere.

足回り Undercarriage；

・履帯は550mm幅の、41～42年に多く使われた形式。

・起動輪は全鋼製の183工場独特のもの。穴の周りの盛り上がりがなく、６つのボルト（リベット）が三角錐のもの。1941年型の装着例もあり。
・誘導輪は全鋼製の最初期型。スポーク部分が長短交互になっており、目抜き穴は正円形、ハブキャップボルトが５つのもの。
・転輪はプレス式1940年型に、幅の狭いゴムタイヤを履かせたもの。ただし走行時負担のかかる第１転輪のみ、従来と同じ幅のゴムタイヤを装着している。従来型のゴムタイヤは穴数42、幅の狭いゴムタイヤは穴数40。これはBT-7と同じもの。

Drive wheels; Full steel early type of №183. It has six holes without rimmed edge around the holes. It has six low conical bolts.
Idler wheels; Full steel early type of No.183. Five long ribs and five short ribs alternately. Holes are perfect circle. Five bolts on the hub cap. (Not ten bolts.)
Road wheels; Model 1940 dish with narrow rubber tyre. This narrow rubber tyre has 40 holes and grooves. This is the same as a BT-7 tyre. (Standard width rubber tyre of T-34 has 42 holes and grooves.) But only first road wheel is model 1940 standard width dish type.
